isara table is an online shop selling Portuguese ceramics. The terms and conditions explained throughout this document apply to all orders placed on this online sales platform, managed by the isara table brand, owned by isara trading, Lda, a private limited company, with its registered office in Peso da Régua, Portugal. Registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Viseu, with share capital of ten thousand euros.

 

Data processing

The data provided by the customer will be processed in accordance with isara table’s Privacy Policy. By using this website, the customer consents to the processing of information and data and declares that all the information provided is true.

 

Use of the online platform

When using this platform, the customer undertakes to:

– Use the platform only to make enquiries and place orders;

– Not place false and/or fraudulent orders in any way. If we detect any of these situations, we will be authorised to cancel the order;

– The customer must fill in all the suggested fields regarding their personal data for contact purposes. They also give their consent for us to contact them whenever necessary;

– If the customer does not provide us with all the necessary information, it will not be possible to proceed with the order;

– By placing an order on this website, the customer declares that they are aged 18 or over and therefore have the legal capacity to enter into distance contracts.

 

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All the contents of the website, including images, texts and designs, are the exclusive property of isara table. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited and is protected by current legislation on intellectual property and industrial property, namely the Copyright and Related Rights Code, published in annex to Decree-Law no. 63/85, of 14 March, and the Industrial Property Code, published in annex to Decree-Law no. 36/2003, of 5 March.

The contents may not be edited, published, reproduced by any means, in whole or in part, and may not be downloaded or copied without prior and express written authorisation from the legal representatives of isara table.

 

Products and Descriptions

Our website displays accurate images and descriptions of all products. However, actual colours may vary due to monitor settings. We are always happy to answer questions about our products.

 

Prices, taxes and payments

All prices for items in the online shop are set and applied by isara table, but errors may occur. Whenever any of these errors are detected, we will contact you as soon as possible, giving you the option of cancelling the order or confirming it again with the corrected price. In cases where we are unable to contact the customer, we will cancel the order and refund the full amount within 15 working days.

 

The prices shown on the isaratable.com website are valid only for the day on which they are advertised, but are always subject to stock availability. 

The prices of the products included in the online shop include the VAT (value added tax) rate in force in Portugal.

isara table reserves the right to change product prices at any time without prior notice.

The total price of the products ordered and the price of the delivery service is always sent to the user when they formalise the purchase at the site’s checkout, at which stage the various admissible means of payment are listed.

When the order is dispatched, the contract for the purchase and sale of the available products is formalised, as well as the delivery service. 

If a product is unavailable, isara table may propose and validate a replacement product with the customer by email or telephone. Dispatch will only be made with the customer’s validation. If the customer does not want a replacement in the event of a stock shortage, isara table undertakes to inform the customer and reimburse the amounts paid within a maximum of 30 days from the date on which the shortage is known.  Refunds will be made using the same means of payment used by the consumer in the initial transaction, except in situations where it is not possible for isara table to do so. In this case, the customer will be asked about the alternative means of payment.

Customs fees and/or import duties are determined by the customs office of the destination in question. These charges may be levied as soon as the parcel arrives in the destination country.

All costs related to these taxes and charges will be the responsibility of the customer and will not be paid or reimbursed by isara table.

Please note that, in certain circumstances, customs agents may be responsible for delaying delivery of your order.

Payments are processed securely and we accept PayPal, credit card, ATM reference and MBWAY.

 

Stock and availability of items

Placing an order depends on the availability of the products. If an item is not available, the customer will not be able to proceed with the purchase. Therefore, in the event of an error regarding product stock, the customer will be informed immediately and the amount paid will be refunded within 30 days.

 

Exchanging items

 Customers can choose to exchange items, provided that the value of the item is equivalent to the one they wish to exchange. In the event of a return, the refund will be credited via the same original payment method. The return will be made within 30 days of the request to return the product.

 

Exclusion of liability

– isara table shall not be held liable for delivery delays and/or faults arising from causes that cannot reasonably be attributed to it, even if this results in a loss of interest on the part of the User, and no compensation shall be due to the User in this respect.

– isara table assumes no liability whatsoever for any improper conduct or use by users of the commercialised products.

– When the user finalises their purchase, they will receive an automatic electronic order and transaction confirmation message. If the User finds that any identification data or shipping data is incorrect, they must request that it be changed immediately or that the order be cancelled. isara table assumes no responsibility for any incorrect information provided by the user.

 

Applicable legislation

Any dispute between isara trading, Lda and the user shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, whose interpretation, validity and execution shall be based on the applicable Portuguese legislation. In the event of any dispute existing between isara trading and the user which cannot or cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the Judicial Court of Oporto, with express waiver of any other.
